Following regular season coverage of the Florida Gators and travelling across the state to cover the team, Jesse had the privilege to fly to Omaha, Nebraska, when the Gators made an unlikely run to the Men's College World Series. While there, Jesse served in conjunction WUFT News producing live shots for TV news casts, along with writing game previews and recaps.

Jesse's biggest learning point was attending the media availability of multiple games with different teams to ask questions and relay live information via Twitter to the baseball world following that week. His most proud project was his collaboration with the Omaha Zoo, creating a pregame video where he fed a cluster or alligators at 7 a.m. the morning of the game relating the live creatures with the Florida Gators and their matchup that day against NC State in an elimination game.
