Tortugas Projects

As Jesse managed all of the Tortuga platforms, he was responsible for creating ideas for promotional nights, local sponsorships, producing interactive player content and looking for unique ways to showcase and promote upcoming games to attract the Tortuga fanbase (the largest crowds on average per night in the Florida State League) to Jackie Robinson Ballpark to enjoy a ballgame. Here are a few of his favorites.

MARVEL's Defender of the Diamond Game

MARVEL Studios has an agreement with Minor League Baseball to host a themed game once in the 2023 season called the, "Defenders of the Diamond Game" as the players would sport hero themed jerseys. Along with putting together between inning games and prizes, Jesse created a hero/player comparison graphics while staying within MARVEL's guidelines that were posted to social media leading up to the game.

Game Day Promotional Posts

Many pregame posts were designed, incorporating local sponsors with the corresponding nights that were being promoted at Jackie Robinson Ballpark including various outside hosted events.

DBT x CINCY Seamless Gallery

A compilation of pictures taken during the visit to Cincinnati for, "DBT x CINCY" were formed into a seamless photo gallery on Instagram, used as an announcement for the upcoming video series.

Almost Friday

Jesse took the, "Almost Friday" trend seen on social media and gave it a turtle twist, incorporating it into a few different pictures around the ballpark.

Scoreboard Videos and Graphics

Many videos and graphics were created for social media and also formatted to be displayed on the scoreboard during pregame. Holidays like Mother's and Father's Day, and special dedication games like, "Hope At Bat" for cancer and "The Nine Night" for Jackie Robinson day featuring Mary Mcleod Bethune were among the many graphics posted.
