Jesse's most recent internship came in the summer of 2024, when he had to opportunity to serve in many different roles in the well-esteemed Cape Cod Baseball League under the title of beat writer/baseball analyst. With his main duties as beat writer, he authored game previews with detailed scouting analysis of opposing teams and conducted player interviews for postgame recaps for 39 games and feature stories.

As the only former collegiate athlete on the staff Jesse utilized his background in baseball as an analyst, collaborating in nightly Gatemen Network broadcasts as a baseball analyst and color commentator, providing in-depth game analysis and delivering postgame show breakdowns for those 39 games. 

 

Jesse filled in running the Gatemen Twitter account, camera work, and player scouting profiles, but his most favorite project of the summer a new form of multi-media interviews. He conceptualized and produced the "Catching Up with the Gatemen" player feature video series of 6 episodes, showcasing in-depth profiles of players and their backgrounds.
